Have a go at archaeology and discover the story behind exhibits that are hundreds or even thousands of years old! That’s the challenge of “Mysteries underground” – an activity specially designed to accompany the exhibition “Archaeology – Treasures of the Swiss National Museum”.

How did people hunt in prehistoric times? What crafts were the Romans especially skilled at, and when did our ancestors start to write? These are just some of the questions young researchers will be expected to answer. Following an interactive tour, they will make a fibula (brooch), drawing inspiration from the models on show. For children aged 6 to 12: Guided tours for older children can also be arranged.
